Good. Grief.

IF the class is so not well behaved that the teacher can't slip away to the restroom, usually pretty close by . . . for 3 minutes . . . with perhaps some of the more responsible students who love to take turns in class "taking names" then there is much more serious problems than donning adult diapers which sounds ridiculous too!

I have a hard time believing any Teacher is wearing adult diapers when they teach because they do not get bathroom breaks.

I can see them joking about it..but I have a hard time believing it.

Most areas have pretty strong Teacher Unions..

I would have to agree. If someone is wearing them, I would think it is due to a medical condition.

Not allowed to leave the class unattended by an authorized person. Liability issues. If a child were to be hurt when the teacher is out of the room???? Never leave children unattended in a classroom. You place your career in jeopardy.

My Mom was a RN. She had to have had the largest bladder on earth even when she was no longer working. She told me that she trained herself. No way could I do that!

Cigarette smoking breaks

Surfing internet on the job breaks

all in addition to a regular 15 minute morning and afternoon break.

Can the teacher right next door in the next classroom not keep an "eye" on both classes as being "officially" in charge for 3 minutes?

That is what managers are there to do...to supervise and motivate employees to do the best job possible.

Treating adults like kindergarteners is the fastest way to turn off your staff, IMO.

Despite what many employers think,having a job does not make you an indentured servant where the company can dictate your bodily functions. I know that corporations are considered people but just because a corporation does not need to use the bathroom, human beings do.

terrier, the problem is that sometimes the managers are worse than the employees! Lol.

It was reported that some group wants to limit bathroom breaks to 6 minutes.

My opinion is that most employees are pressured enough and don't need a stopwatch on toilet visits.

I'm sure we call all think of instances where physical problems were an issue, including fishing around in your purse for a tampon.
