Hurricane Dorian has left a path of destruction and thousands without electricity across Nova Scotia where our poster @Lilysmom lives surrounded by her beautiful gardens.  We've enjoyed seeing pictures of her botanical paradise, and the thought of it being destroyed is truly sad. Let's all cross our fingers and hope she, her hubby and Lily (the dog) are all okay and the garden survives with minimal damage.

@Kachina624   That was a crazy storm! I’m in VA on the coast. When  it came through the Outer Banks of NC.and made landfall it took a small turn to the East. That saved my area with huge trees.

   The morning after, I couldn’t believe it was a category 2 again! The watching and waiting were awful.

   I hope we hear soon that Lilysmom and her dog and gardens are okay. She has put much effort and work into her plantings. 

   Prayers for the area hit and Lilysmom!

So glad to hear you came through that maelstrom, @Lilysmom.  Your photos on the Garden thread are terrifying and spectacular!   What a wave.
