I wasn't allowed to have a cat growing up because my Mother didn't like them. As soon as I moved out I got a cat, or rather she found me. She had her kittens in my closet, 4 of them. I found a home for them and I kept 2 and Mother cat. One night Momma cat got hit by a car and died. I was devestated and her kittens were only 6 weeks old. I raised them until they died, and 3 months later I rescued an abandoned cat who had 4 kittens. I took 1 kitten and the Mother {no one wanted  the Mother} I cant imagine life without a cat. They are calm, mysterious and demanding but loving and sweet and smart! I love cats they are the best!
