A bit of wild and un-tamed in the house!
Same here, @Jacie.
One of my favorite quotes is :
"To share one's life with a cat is to invite a bit of wildness indoors."
It's from the early 90's documentary "National Geographic: 'Cats - Caressing the Tiger".
If I remember correctly, it aired on PBS, but you can get the DVD online now at Ebay and other vendors.

@Hoovermom wrote:May I ask is that a cat leash? We have a furbaby that loves to be taken outside, but we are afraid she will run off. Thanks!!
Looks like it, plus a kitty harness for safety.
They work well and are supportive to a cat's body.
Check out the user reviews for cat holsters and harnesses on Amazon, etc..

That's a cute cat pictured. Are they called stripey's? Ours look similar. The younger one has round eyes and will always look like a kitten in the face. Cuuute. Her mother has beautiful almond shaped eyes and is very pretty. Very expressive with her eyes. I swear i grit my teeth when I'm petting them they're so adorable. I feel like I need one of those night guards people wear!Cats with stripes are tabby cats. There are different types of tabby patterns though. There is classic ( which has a swirl pattern), mackerel ( which is the most common striped pattern), spotted, agouti and ticked tabby. Those are the basic ones, then certain breeds have variations on them.
The cat Echo in the picture appears to be a brown mackerel tabby with white and she looks like she has the inihibitor gene ( which gives a shiny silver to the coat most noticible on the lower legs and feet).
And all tabbies have an 'M' on their foreheads. 8)
No matter their color or fur length.
Like this cutie:

Thank you for sharing these. Five cats and two dogs allow me to share their home, open doors for them, feed them, provide clean water & empty their boxes (cats).
Never a dull moment. What a blessing!
Best wishes to you.
Sounds like a wonderful (though 'subservient') life, @Drythe.
Will you adopt me?
Appreciate the thanks and good thoughts. 8-)
