Life alert commercial..............

cracks me up! I hear it every single morning. The lady will give up her wine, soda and beer if she has to, but she won't give up her Life Alert. LOL

Actually, I think those Life Alert things are great. I did wonder though...if the person wearing a life alert necklace is downtown and sees an emergency such as a fire or robbery, can they use their life alert to call for help for others? Or does it only work at their own house by their phone?
