Our news station has letters to Santa this year. The childen can write Santa via email, they post them on their website and Santa answers. (some they did read onair but not many)

I just read them awhile ago. (there were 90 some I believe?). A lot are cute and funny(kids saying I tried to be good, but sometimes I cant help it and I get mad at my brothers or sisters, or they say I want this and that on and on and REALLY try to butter Santa up with offering cookies and stuff like that..lol.. and alot mention Rudolph and seem to be concerned for Santa and Rudolphs travels..lol.) but some just broke my heart to no end.

More than a few kids wrote that their mom is a single mom can Santa bring her something because she has no money to spend on herself. One kid asked for his dad to come home :-( Then even adults wrote in. One grandmother wrote in and asked if the news station can help her for her granchildrens gifts because she has no money. Well there are some really sad ones. But one that really got to me was, a person wrote that they are an adult and their grandchild was just born and has many health issues and they dont know if the child is going to live. So they asked Santa if he can bring their grandchild home for Christmas.

I was in tears reading some of these sad ones. There are a lot of children AND adults suffering this Christmas. I hope their prayers are answered.

I have no idea how "Santa" is going to address their questions when he writes back, ya know?
