@MaRina, are we related?  lol.  My nic used to be Sarina without the capital "r", but there's another poster, Sanna, and my eyes kept seeing our nics as identical, so I changed to a capital "r".

I'm 54.  Within the last 6 months, I developed a disinterest in work.  Been working since I was 16.   I no longer have the desire and passion to work.  I just go through the motions.

My biggest concern is that I won't ever be able to retire.

Happy birthday! I turned 70 last month but I posted about my three score and ten so it's no secret. However I now confess I am a Law and Order addict. The Sundance network counter programmed against the Super Bowl with a L&O marathon. I watched it all evening, except when I watched Lady Gaga's fantastic halftime show.

@Aw, don't feel too badly @Qshopper1991. I went through the motions in my jobs for decades, but I look at it this way -- it was a means to an end and it has served me well. I do envy those who love their jobs, but I always looked for my enjoyment outside of work. As far as retirement, I unexpectedly and happily was able to retire very early. Maybe something unexpected will come your way too! :-)
