I wasn't doing it on purpose.  I was making a cup of tea very early this morning and the words just came, so I thought I might as well share them.

In fact, I don't believe it fits into the prescribed haiku format.  It was too early to actually craft anything.    But the rising steam seemed to need honoring, somehow.

Steam to breathe in

Tea to nourish

Cup to warm hands and give us beauty

If I remember correctly, it's 17 syllables and three lines.
