If interested....Here a few ideas of things to give up & do instead. Don’t really think the 2017 matters at all. Good ideas stand the test of time. Blessings to All!

Lent is not really a part of my religion, so I am not a really a strict adherent.  However since many of my friends have the tradition, I have decided that I will try to be more positive and have more faith in the mercy and goodness of my Creator. 

 

I'm giving it a go!  So far I'm doing well with the effort. 

 

My underlying pre-Easter tradition is gorging on chocolate eggs and bunnies. . . Woman Frustrated

DH is trying to forgive all those years in Catholic school when the Nuns screamed at them. LOL only kidding but he does have stories that we laugh at. That is his lent forgive the Nuns. LOL so happy I never went to Catholic school back in those days. Just messing around I know lent is serious.

So funny my Dad not Catholic gave up his wine. He said we should all give up something he was a religious person.

In recent years, I have tried to do things during Lent that I have been procrastinating. It is very painful.
