Excuse the interuption . . . just had to brag a little on my daughter who just turned 19 earlier this month . . . I tutored, mainly Reading, at the elementary school for 9 years while she and her brother attended . . . and today she volunteered at the local community center near her campus and had to catch the campus transit bus and get off as close as nearest stop, and walk 1/2 mile over to center, though she was given a ride back to her dorm since it was after dark and too far to walk all the way back at night . . . . she said it was the BEST Part of Her Day!!!! Guess first students were some second grader(s) and then sixth grader(s), not sure how many of each. I'm glad she is doing this and hopefully both she and her suitemate who is volunteering starting on Thursday's will enjoy working with these kids this semester. I turned more like my Mother as I got older . . . she was a first grade teacher . . . a very special grade to teach I think . . . so seems the apple tree stays more the same as it grows. Or some old saying like that . . . I'm not very good with old sayings . . . I tend to twist them up badly so I try not to say them often. haha{#emotions_dlg.confused1}
