Laws regarding fireworks.

i don't understand why people disregard the fact that fireworks are illegal in our state. And I really don't understand why the police drive around doing nothing when people are handing them out to their children and they are running around with them and frightening the pets. What's the point??? Not to mention one of the people at the party next door was an off-duty officer. It's a joke.
