I think the sheriff was pretty specific in his statement about the family. It didn't say all family members were clear. It stated that family, to include siblings and their spouses, were cleared. 

Whether LE actually believes that, or if it is a ploy to lull someone into a false sense of security, time will tell.

@Cakers3, the vehicle being discussed was a third vehicle. A blue sedan with what appeared to be recent front end damage. It had a blue tarp covering part of that damage. It had been parked in front of the home where the search warrant had been served on Friday.

@Etoile308 - it turned out to be a lot of excitement for nothing.  That vehicle was not towed for impound and processing.  The insurance company (State Farm, I think) had it towed because it was "totaled" in a collision.

I could find absolutely nothing about a third car being towed.

This is what I mean about wading through this thread when some posts are assumed to be part of this case.

I actually do not see makeup on her. Just a loving daughter facing the worst about her mom.

Turns out much ado about nothing after all.

So.a car nearby was towed and conclusions were made.

Since there were no viable reports that car had anything to do with Nancy it shows, again, research the facts before posting.

Just saying.

@Tinkrbl44 - Are you referring to the big ordeal last Friday when 30-ish vehicles happened upon a house to detain two people and another was at the traffic stop and detained at the Culver's restaurant?  

Yeah, a lot of LE presence and on scene optics that resulted in a Range Rover being towed but no arrests so far. Right now, it looks like they may be done with those people but there's always the chance they may have more they're working on and can always resume something with them.  Only LE knows.

It sounds like they are going backwards to me. 

Nothing seems to be leading to anything that will find this poor woman...and so much time has passed.

With the DNA not providing any matches they have little to nothing to go on.

@DREAMON  It is beyond sad to think that her life may have ended tragically. The whole situation is a head scratcher. Will this ever be resolved?
