I wouldn’t think there would be an increase in viewers. Hardly anyone I know watches the morning news. They read it online.

I probably didn't make my point clear in my post. I agree. I haven't watched any of those morning shows in years. My shock was that Her network, her place of work, her friends etc.... It all came down to hoping her return would make them more money. I find that shocking.

@cody2

OH I 100% agree with You !!

I think that takes a lot of nerve to put that out there. Did they even consider how Savannah would feel knowing that.

NBC wanting ratings with Savannah’s return isn’t shocking, it’s a business. Savannah is a smart, seasoned professional. She knows exactly how the industry operates, and she’s not taking network decisions personally. This is the nature of television: ratings matter, and the people in it understand that better than anyone. @RescueLover

@manny2 🪻

I suppose you’re right but considering the sensitivity of the matter involving her absence, I just wasn’t thinking that way.

Thanks for straightening me out ! 💕

So podcasters aren't the only opportunists trying to capitalize on someone's tragedy.  Hmmm, go figure.  🤷‍♀️

Melissa Casias was featured on the most recent Crime Junkie podcast.

There's a difference between reporting the news, their job, and free Lance speculators.

The newest podcast from the Interview Room with Monk and Josh was excellent. It was very interesting and just rolled along. One of my favorites so far. I think Monk is very interesting and has made some good points. Josh is very good.
