How is knowing/imagining where Nancy's head was lead to solving the crime?

All these know it all  podcasters haven't solved the crime, decovered the perpetrators, or found Nancy, but have gained followers and made money from it.

It wasn’t a burglary gone wrong.

He stated his motivation was strong and he was able to control Nancy even when she tried to fight him off and resist leaving the house.

He most likely hit her and that caused the blood loss.

He also believes he’s since changed his appearance, sold his vehicle etc.

But he believes the suspect made mistakes and will be caught !!

@occasionalrain - There's more than one question to be answered when a crime has been committed.  When LE or an investigator arrives on the scene, they're taking in all possible information and details, with a view toward eventual prosecution.  So the angle of Nancy's body, distance of her head from the ground, pattern of the blood stains, etc. are all key in the reconstruction of the crime and  for after they have someone to charge.

There has been some information that has come out in the recent days. I don't know if this is accurate but one wrote they found a small camera that was installed in Nancy's house the end of 2025. The other piece of information was they found this reinforced underground structure 6 feet under Annie's hydrangeas.. They indicated they had found bones but was not Nancy's. Apparently, it goes back to 1996. The podcast is under Revealing the Case: What was hidden under Savannah's Guthrie's sister's backyard. Both pieces of information are head scratchers.

I watch The Interview Room and enjoy it a lot, though sometimes very long. I heard about a youtuber called, "Monks intrigue" it is just a kid maybe 30 with many short videos about the Gunthrie case and other older ones. I was impressed and enjoyed him, even though not a professional he shares latest facts and analyzing key points. Not for many I'm sure, but some may enjoy the short videos.
