There was a pack of javelinas in the big 55-plus community, plus tons of coyotes, where we had a winter home in the Phoenix area. I was worried about our dog being unattended in the fenced yard.  @JeanLouiseFinch

Finding the suspect that actually committed the crime ... or talking to someone who KNOWS something that could be helpful is a trial-and-error process.   

Innocent people are questioned all the time.  They survive ... and should be happy to help. 

They need to find that dear lady, even if she is no longer alive.

@Wendalzee  Moments ago, a man who tells us he’s a private investigator for the family showed up to Nancy Guthrie’s house and spoke to the Sheriff’s deputy on site. He also dropped off what looks like some additional security signage. They have a picture of him driving up to the house and getting out of his car.

I heard it was a private security firm, not a priviate investigator.  Not the same thing.  Annie and her husband is not staying in the house and the private security firm is taking care of it.  Dropping off security signage would indicate a security firm, not an investigator.

@tansy.   As you should be.  PLEASE never leave your animals unattended in your yard.  Coyotes can climb walls  and fences over  8 feet tall.   PLEASE don't or you will live to regret it

Coyotes could definitely leap our 6 foot cement block fence. Sometimes at night they'd be howling directly outside the fence. Unnerving for sure. He wasn’t unattended in the yard but we wouldn't necessarily be right on top off him.

On the other hand I was always worried how I would be able to defend him. We carried a thick dowel when we walked him in the evening.

We are not snowbirds anymore.

@Icegoddess  You are correct no private investigator was hired. It is false reporting but many have reported such.

Someone within close proximity of Nancy Guthrie received this on the Ring app today, thru Ring’s Neighbors/Public Safety system.

New Timeline for Nancy Video Requests

Investigators are now requesting video footage from January 11th between 9:00 PM and midnight regarding the Nancy Guthrie case.

Also Saturday January 31st between 9:30 and 11 (suspicious vehicle on Via Entrada around 10am).

Please check your recordings before they are overwritten; footage of vehicle traffic is particularly helpful.

When submitting, please include your address along with the specific date and time of the video. Hopefully, we can piece this together.

While I know the family is suffering, and I certainly feel for them, I can't help but also feel for all those who have experienced a missing family member with not even a fraction of the concern from law enforcement dedicated to this situation.
