I use Tide for Whites & Light colored clothing loads.  Typically, it is Arm & Hammer for  all others  (Darks/jeans, Towels, etc).

I am on my second bottle of Persil and like it.  Usually I use All or Costco's brand.

That's all I've used since it came out.  I like the pods.  However I hesitated saying that here.  A while back a few posters said they hated it because the perfume was so strong.  I don't really notice it at all.

I get whatever is on sale. Shout for stains. And Bounce for softener.

Another Costco user, with a little OxyClean thrown in for tough stains.

Purex Natural Elements.  Hypoallergenic and dye free for sensitive skin.  It's cheap and does an excellent cleaning job.  I use Woolite for delicate items.

Tide makes me itch. I use hypoallergenic Purex also...and occasionally Woolite on sweaters.

I recently got the Ecoegg laundry egg, the 864 washes from England at HSN. I like it. You get two eggs: blue one for colored and white egg for white clothes. I won't be buying detergent for a long while.

When I received the eggs, the blue one was easy to open, while I couldn't open the white egg. Their Customer Service is super. They gave me several tips which didn't work and then told me they would send a new one and it would take about a week since it came from England. True to their word, I got it in a week and it worked perfectly.

The wash is bright and clean. I will see how many washes I get.

Re: Laundry Detergent...

[ Edited ]

I also bought the egg from HSN and really like it.  I don't understand why the white one needs to be used for whites though.  What is the difference between the colored egg and the white egg?  I just leave the egg in the washing machine and just throw the clothes in and wash them.  I do like the egg.  I also have Nellies from HSN and like that also.  I don't think I will be buying regular laundry detergent again.

I also use the dryer eggs from HSN and like those.

I was using the Kirkland pods for a while and liked the ease of just throwing it in and actually getting the number of washes the container said.  I probably always use too much of liquid.  But then I started noticing some clothes sometimes had slime on them, and it was the outer part of the pod not dissolving completely and sticking to the clothes.  So I am back to Arm & Hammer.

I tried a Tide+ with Oxyclean when it was on sale recently.  I loved the scent so much I was willing to pay extra and use it just for the scent.  Now I can't find it anywhere.  Not even Amazon.
