In the interest of staying healthy, I've been researching cancer-causing household products. Non-detergent laundry balls like those from SmartKlean sound great but are initially spendy at $45/365 loads. I'm sure there are better/lesser grades of cleansing beads in these type balls, so anyone's experience in which clean better and last longer would be helpful.
Anyone make their own laundry soap and found it to be easy, affordable, good cleaning job or not worth the trouble vs using a store product like Seventh Generation or a laundry ball?
