Saw the thread on here ,but wondering plus or minus?

Based on my experience, latex mattresses are far superior to any other type. I wouldn't consider using a different kind.

Don't know about latex toppers, though.

I have two 3-inch latex toppers from Turmerry dot com.  Best purchases ever for my beds. I like the firm one and the med-firm is in the guest bedroom.

@goldensrbest  I purchased Latex for Less queen natural latex 3" soft topper and cotton topper cover four years ago to enhance my existing latex foam mattress w/fiberfill pillow topper. It is heavenly especially during cold weather when I add a silk comforter. I use a baffled fitted mattress protector on top of latex topper and then a bottom fitted sheet.

Another vote for my 3" latex topper.  I got the soft and it's great. 

If I ever buy a new mattress, it would most likely be latex.

@SilleeMee.  If you had painful arthritis, would the firm have enough "give" to relieve pressure points or do you think the med-firm would be better?

The med-firm would be better in that case. I slept on the med-firm for over a year and I had no issues with pressure-point pain. I would email them and ask what they would recommend for people with arthritic pain issues with mattresses. That's what I did when I needed to get my second topper from Turmerry. I needed more back support.

ETA-

I just took a look at the toppers on Turmerry and they quit offering 'med-firm' and now have med only. I believe they did that b/c in all honesty my 'med-firm' is really more med than it is firm.

@SilleeMee , I wonder if your mattress on your bed is a thick one,and if the topper you have on it  tends to move?

I also was wondering that,i have scoliosis, and hip pain i feel like i am about 90!!!

My topper does not move at all. Latex is heavy.
