Ok voyager - I'll take your bait. The point on the Isla Vista thread was that there were a handful of posters who felt that their opinions were the only ones worth any merit and factuality. Anytime somebody posted an opposing view or countered with a correction to a "fact" it was ignored or they were lectured to death about how much they didn't know.

If one is going to sit for hours on a thread brow beating others because they won't line up with their pov, then yes, the remark fit.

There was a lot of misinformation on that thread; even poor gardenman was ripped for posting about the NRA; and he wasn't even the one who originally brought the NRA up.

We are forever reading the whining that there is nothing "intelligent" to discuss around here - which means there aren't enough posters to kiss the you know what of a select few.
