Great minds, as they say!   I've been doing just that.

Smile.amazon.com is a good way to "donate" all year long.

@lolakimono, is that where you choose a charity that you want some portion of your Amazon purchases to go to? If so, I did that. It makes giving so easy.

@suzyQ3

Yes- I do one of our rescue organizations (kitties) and BF does the other.

It's so easy!Cat Happy

My rescue organizations also have wish lists on A, so one can order something that they need (usually litter/food) and it arrives at their center.  Win-win!

Re: Last Minute Charitable Donations!

Every year I add money to be taken out monthly to St Jude.  It's an easy way to do it.  I also have several favorite one's for church's near me that friends go to and so on.

I always donate during the year to the animal charity where I got my two cats.  They help pay for animals that need operations but either their owners (I hate that word) can't afford it or they are found out in the world with no one to pay for their operation.  It's amazing how they can fix these little kitties to make them better.  One had a torn lip and couldn't eat, it was skin and bones.  They sewed up the lip and now it's a fat happy little kitty with a new mom.  People don't adopt animals that aren't perfect, so this place makes them so people will adopt the animals.  It's a good charity and I respect the lady who runs this chapter.

This is what I love about this time of year.  This is when people are more generous.  I just donated a ton of stuff to Good Will just a few days ago.

Mine is Friends of UNFPA, which is associated with the United Nations and helps women survive and be healthy in countries that are not exactly pro-women's health.

Re: Last Minute Charitable Donations!

Thanks for the reminder.  I have seen the heart-wrenching ad for the ASPCA twice today depicting neglected, abandoned and abused dogs left out in brtually cold weather.  I am going to their website now-- if others are interested in donating, the site is
