Well he looks great!
It's funny I'm 63 and was just thinking about the SS thread. We're all wondering where the time went but most of us don't feel like we're in our 60s.

@cherry I think as long as we have good health and are not in too much pain we all tend to feel younger. ![]()

You know you're getting old when your children are drawing SS Old Age Benefits.

What really upsets me the most is that he had the audacity to abuse some of the young ladies with their mother right in the room. What kind of monster is he? Talk about no morals, no conscience, just plain evil. I am thrilled he will never walk out of prison, never again a free man, never again harm innocent women.

This is a complicated case that's nothing like Penn State, this man was their Dr. so of course he had his hands on them...add that to the fact it involved different States, locations & that he's a master manipulator that fooled law enforcement, organizations, parents & many others it's not surprising this went on so long. The letter by the acting President was appropriate, he doesn't know what happened, it was simply to inform the University wants to cooperate & find the truth...he can't be held responsible for what the past President & the current Board Members did. I did see someone mentioned on this board that the young lady who's father commited suicide probably didn't care her father killed himself...she's the only one in the case that wasn't involved in gymnastics & might be his first victim because her abuse stated when she was in kindergarten & continued for years, Nassar was a family friend. She told her parents when she was 12 & wasn't believed, her father had DEFENDED ABUSED CHILDREN & was appalled she would use that to get attention...you can bet everything you own that Nassar was in her father's ear manipulating him & using all of it to his advantage. Her family continued their friendship with the Nassar family so she was around him & babysat his kids. The situation was very difficult for her, lots of confusion, arguments with her father & family so she sought counseling & paid for it herself. When she was 18 & leaving home to attend college she confronted her father again & he finally believed her. Nassar stole her innocence, her family, the relationship with her father, her well being & her father's life...he was ill but she thought he had a chance to recover if it wasn't for the deep guilt he felt. This young lady is a victim on so many levels & now she has to put up with ulgy comments made by strangers who think they have the right to judge her father & family. My heart goes out to all the victims & their loved ones. Now that Nassar is in prison & the MI AG criminal investigation has started who knows what charges may be coming. The evil Nassar has done is stunning & it continues.

Expecting young girls to be world class athletes may not be a good thing.
It takes a commitment from the whole family to be an athlete on the world stage.

I think we know a bit about Engler . He was our Governor, and he is a nitwit. He is also a political insider at MSU. They should have gotten someone with no ties to the school
