I agree @foundinlv ...Lamar's father is a drug addict and used Lamar for money and anything else he could get his son to buy for him. He was surrounded by users and losers.  Except Khloe, who truly loved him.  Even as they were divorcing... she always said she would rather be married to Lamar.  But he would have to make changes.... which he could not commit to being clean.

Drug addiction is really a form of suicide.  Logically others can see a way out...but to the addict, they would rather die then to quit the self medication and face the pain of life.

I wanted to highlight the last part of your post, @Bestdressed.  I think some people would be surprised to know how often it's true.  The world looks, sounds, smells, acts, feels, moves in a different way to the person inside that horribly agonizing, seemingly unendurable pain.   It's complicated and heartbreaking.

Oh wow, really?   Interesting.  I had read that their divorce was finalized last June.    I guess you never know.

I cannot help but thinking that she probably has more money than he.  I could be wrong, of course, but that's my impression.

not even sure just how much of his money he has left.......and i hope he has a will AND has taken care of his children first. i am sure there will have to be some tough decisions made by khloe, but i am glad that the divorce wasnt final yet. i would hate to see lamars father getting control of the money at this point.

i was going by what @missy1 just wrote above......she said according th TMZ that the divorce is not yet finalized because of the backlog in the courts.

if they ARE divorced i have a feeling there will be a free for all where the money is concerned unfortunately......if it gets to that point.

What I had read, FWIW, was that she finally FILED for divorce last December and it was finalized in June of this year.

It made sense to me because, from my experience living in CA, 6 months was the standard.   

Of course, I don't know that to be absolute truth but I saw it presented that way more than once so I really believed it.  Oh well.
