Turtleneck, mock neck or cowl neck.  My preference is turtleneck.

Between those 3 options, I'd choose mock. In reality, I always prefer something that shows more skin....(I hope that sounds right! Not sure how best to word it). 😃

When I wore them, my preference was cowl - more comfortable.

As far as how they look on others, I like all three - depending on how they're styled.
