I had a red beet pickled egg and half of a sweet potato, and a handful of Late July chips, for something crunchy.

Sounds better than my Greek yogurt with strawberries on top.  And my coffee.

@chrystaltree

Now that sounds good to me ... maybe I'll try it this week.

I haven't had such good luck with fresh fruit this summer.  Had a really bad reaction to some cherries from Whole Foods, so I've shied away from buying from there.

@sunshine45Yeah, I'd much rather have an actual Meal at lunch time.  I'm more inclined to have a yoghurt for dinner/ at night as it isn't too much on my stomach and it satisfies me till morning.

Today --here,   where I am, near Seattle,will be the last day of the summer temps--77*--or so the weather peeps say---then temps trail into the cool 60's --so last hurrah---there is a really nice picnic table at a local park that we saw people eating  pizza there early in the summer--looked so tasty and inviting, in a little spot just off the trail next to the slough that runs thru the park---so we will make our own pizzas to take to that table and celebrate fall!! Have a cool back pak cooler type thing that we pack up with picnic stuff--plates, tablecloth, napkins, drinks , utencils and such--that works really well--and fun to people watch too.
