Last night on Lisa's chat I was taken aback how she gave out the address to her warehouse. She often mentions she is there quite often so I was shocked when she mentioned this especially coming from her background.
Also I was disheartened to hear her speak about returns. She is trying to deter people from returning merchandise to her and made comments like that's why she has pictures & descriptions on her site so the customer can make an informed decision before they hit the order button.
I don't agree with her on that at all. She filters her pictures to the max with selfies and jewelry so the particular piece someone may get home may not look exactly like her pics. Also, sometimes jewelry just needs to be seen on your own self before making a decision.
Lisa claims she's a small business and cannot afford to really accept lots of returns. Ummm well then maybe you shouldn't have your own company to begin with then. Sounds like she doesn't want to take risks, just wants the profits.
The things Lisa says continue to leave me speechless sometimes.

Speechless? Not when it comes to Lisa.

Lisa answered somebody so rudely today in her post about the butterfly offerings. Someone told her they would rather see her wear a regular shirt instead of all her drape shawls. Lisa said if that's their biggest problem of the day, then they have it going pretty well. WOW! JUST WOW!
Why in the world would she say that to a customer?!!

I wondered about these very same things. Returns, close-up pictures...
When buying these days, in order to overcome the many negatives (like how it will fit/size and proportion, etc/) I mostly need to purchase from places with reliable and easy return policies.
LR has no catalogues and the pictures on her site are not really detailed enough for me in general.
To be fair, I bought a cashmere wrap that is perfect in every way and I love it.
But that was a splurge for me and it worked out.

I was wondering why it took so long to run to run over here and give yet another misrepresentation of what was said during Lisa's chat. What happened, stop for coffee? lol
She was not deterring people from returning, she was addressing those who are "habitual returners." She also didn't say they can't afford the returns, she explained the process to which they go once a they get a piece back and why habitual returns are costly.
It's not different than any other store where you habitually return. After a while, it will catch up to you. Lisa was letting the people who make too many returns know that if they continue, she will have to rethink her policy. Here at QVC you get a letter for too many returns saying you're no longer invited to be a customer. So, what are you saying...they shouldn't be a company either?

It sounds to me like you hang on her every word. You seem to have one of these threads about ,her constantly.
If you don't like her, why go there to begin with?
For someone that's speechless you seem to have a lot to say.
Why not just leave her alone? Live and let live, its a great big world, no one forces you to go there

Since she is such a small company, maybe she should just not accept returns and see how that works out for her.
Or maybe, instead of penalizing everyone, she should address the habitual returners directly and tell them their return privileges are cut off or not allow them to order anymore.

Funny but you don't ever appear to be speechless when it comes to Lisa.
