@Moonchilde, you made me look.  LOL  Today's offerings scream fake but aren't they supposed to?  Maybe it's me and the relatives and friends I have but I wouldn't try to pass that off as real and if I saw it on someone else, I would assume it's fake.  None of them would try and pass it off as real either.

I kind of think the necklace is cute but I think it would bug me to no end.  The bracelet doesn't appeal to me at all.  The prices on them are nuts.

And the OP even commented on it (reply#9)

That's what I thought.  LOL

OMG, with the waving to people on FB.

She's driving and waving and talking about nothing.

I seriously cannot stop laughing about your comment here.

What was the point of the chat?

What is wrong with her?  That's so incredibly dangerous and stupid.

Most of her fans loved it and want more! Some wouldn't watch because thery were so scared!

I saw this thread at the top of the main forum page early this morning.  I then searched out Lisa's chat video to find out what's up with her flameless candles, since I like to decorate with candles.

I was genuinely shocked when I realized that her candles are the same technology as Solare, which is still here on QVC, but has not been well received.  Most people think they pale in comparison to Luminara.

I happen to really like the two Solare candles that I bought when they first came to QVC.  I just don't like the huge oversized bulb they used.  As long as they're above eye level, though, I like the technology and have wanted to buy more.

Solare was part of the Home Reflections family, FLIPO.  I think the newer generation candles like Lisa's are now being called Simplux and are affiliated with Melrose International.  Lots of info out there if one wants to search.

As for her choice to put down Luminara, I can't stand it when anyone does this (a Luminara vendor has done it) and Lisa is no exception.  It isn't necessary.

My final thought on all of this is how it's really bizarre that she's going with that line, since Solare was definitely NOT a mega hit on QVC.  Strange!

She knows that her purchase-anything-Lisa-sells fans would never look into this as you have, or even if they did they wouldn't care; if Lisa sells it, They Will Buy, period. If the candles turn out to be defective, they will apologize to her for "having" to report it - I've seen this.

@Lipstickdiva They scream fake to me too, but as for "aren't they supposed to" - this is something I've never understood. Maybe it's a generational thing. I was always told if you can't afford the real thing, don't buy glaringly obvious fakes, buy subtle, tasteful substitutes that don't stand out like a sore thumb. I guess that has changed somewhat over the years.  I would think one needs a thin, swan-like Audrey Hepburn neck to do the choker.  The bracelet IMO is pretty dimestore-ish. And the prices? Bwahaha!

@Bri21, It just hit me.  That is probably why she went with Solare (now Simplux, or whatever they are going to be called) instead of Luminara.  $$$

I'm a huge costume jewelry fan so.......while I do own some subtle jewelry, most of mine is larger.  But mine is obviously costume. I don't buy costume gold necklaces expecting to pass them off as real.
