When customers are afraid to return something or complain that a "treasure" isn't holding up well, that's a huge red flag.

If I buy something and want to return it, I shouldn't have to worry that Lisa is going to get upset.  Lol. She makes the Tribe feel guilty     I think that's wrong

But I wouldn't buy from her anyway.

Her mark up must be 200%.    She has glitter houses for $80.   They look like Putz houses which usually sell for $35 to $40 for the same size houses. I've seen the lights with the painted scenes she sells for $59 and up for $19.  Nothing she sells is worth what she's charging

@sunshine45, most people shop for the best price.

It seems a lot of Tribe members just buy because they want to make her happy or because they feel like there is some special connection to her personally.   I find that creepy

@Bri36

i honestly have not noticed any of what you say......and it would be hard to judge that, but then i am not a customer nor am i on her website or social media all that often. i have seen a few things i liked, but never took the plunge. i do receive her emails. i like her and wish her well in all parts of her life.

another mention about returns. i would post a link, but it would get deleted. there is an entire page on her site that walks you through how to make a return step by step, including  getting a prepaid label. she has followed qvcs lead and does not offer refunds on original shipping and return shipping.

That photo reminds me of a wedding photo from a cousin's wedding years ago.

She wanted a photo of all her aunts and uncles.  Months later, all the aunts and uncles were sent a copy of the photo.  My mom opened hers and asked what the heck happened and started laughing.

It looked like the photographer tried to fix some issues with the people in the photo.  My mom's eyes looked like they were painted on. Her eyes must have been closed or part closed and he tried to fix them. ROFLOL  Other people looked like their arms were moved to a better position but the arm was either super tiny, super long or super big.  This picture is from the very early 90s and all but 1 person in that photo has passed. I have the photo and to this day when I see it I still laugh.

This has got to be one of the best posts to this thread @Lipstickdiva.  It is good hearted and made me laugh. Now I am glad I took the time to skim through this drudge of a thread. Smiley Happy

You know....it's one thing not to like a particular host or ex-host and it's another thing not to like things that they sell on their website (regardless if it's unreasonably priced or something that is not your style)....

BUT....to talk about anyone's looks, regardless if it's Lisa, or her customers that post pictures of themselves with her jewelry in a rude and mean way is not nice at all.  Throw your photo up here and let's discuss.  ....

As my granny used to say, "God don't like ugly"....and she was talking about the way people act and sound, not their looks.

When it comes to commenting on another's looks, I don't see anything wrong with mentioning the obvious Photoshopping (Facetuning, etc.) going on in the photos a person posts on a public website.

@hoosieroriginal  ITA!  I'm 68 and never hesitate to reveal that to anyone who is interested.  They can make any judgments they want to about that; makes no difference to me.  I'm not ashamed of my age, so I don't need to conceal it.

@2blonde - my dad died at 43, my sister at 58, my mom at 59 - so I celebrate every year God puts me on this Earth!  I don't hesitate either to tell them my age - I think I look darn good for 65!  Good for you @2blonde!  I'm right there with you.  To me, we just get better and more wise!

@hoosieroriginal  Girl, we have a lot in common.  My mom died at 48, and my older sister died at 49.  You can imagine what I was thinking when I was approaching that age.  Well I'm still here, and I still have my little sister who is 58.  We plan to stick around for a good while, and yes, I do look pretty darned good for 68!
