I think she is a very beautiful woman, but there is no need for photoshopping beyond extremes. In the picture with the extensions on, she looks so pretty but she photoshopped her mole away. I believe our little imperfections make us who we are and i for one would hate to post beautiful pictures and then be seen in person and look nothing like my photos.

In the photo with the arm, it reminds me of the episode on King of Queens when Doug and Carrie received a portrait of themselves form Deacon and Kelly and her arm was huge. Too funny

I never found her very attractive - Hair extensions, fake eyelashes, heavy lip liner look so unnatural and overdone.

I highly disagree with you about this when it comes to the products Lisa sells.  Lisa is running a business.  She doesn't have a business FB page.  Her public FB page is where she hawks her products, does the live chats about her products, etc.  If someone has a complaint about a product, they most definitely should be able to express their opinions on her FB page.

Another issue I have, which made me not want to ever buy anything from her, is the fact that she allows posters on her FB page to vehemently defend her to the point of rudeness and namecalling of other posters.  Again, this is a page where you are running a business.  That should not be allowed to go on.  Lisa can delete and poof whatever personal comments she wants.  No one can question anything or even hint at something negative, even about her business, without a group of posters jumping all over that person and Lisa sits back and lets it go on.

Lisa has even made snotty comments about posters saying they need a time out, need to learn to play well with others, etc.  Very unprofessional when she is using this to run a business.

Not sure what you're talking about, since I never mentioned products that Lisa sells.   My comment was about saying rude or snotty things about her personally on her facebook page.

Seems to me that anyone who has a FB page or website .... or whatever .....   should be able to edit and delete inappropriate entries.  Heck, even QVC deletes bad reviews .....   or doesn't allow them posted in the first place!

For someone who doesn't like her, you sure are an expert on her and what she does!   Whew!

The point that @Lipstickdiva was making is that, since Lisa has deliberately chosen not to have a page for her business, which 99% of business people have, she determines that any post that upsets her is to be deleted.

If someone posts on her FB page "The plated bronze ring I bought from you two months ago has the plating wearing off", or "I tried to order within the first 3 minutes and it was sold out" - it will be deleted. The comments are not "rude", they're the normal comments any business gets. But Lisa deletes them. Yes, since it's her "personal" page she has the "right" - but if this was anyone else but the Sainted One, would you still think that was honest, ethical business practices?

There is nowhere for any honest criticism. And I mean nowhere. A single unhappy word on the Tribe FB page is verboten and grounds for being kicked out. Seriously. Thou Shalt Not Post Any Unhappiness With Lisa - period. No one is "permitted" to express anything but pleasure with the goods. I'm not speaking of rudeness, just the normal issues any business has.

If this wasn't Lisa, would you think that was A-OK?

@Tinkrbl44, Your post didn't indicate that you were only talking about personal comments made about Lisa.  I interpreted it to mean any not so flattering comments.   I completely agree that the rude and nasty personal comments should be deleted.  I'm not sure why anyone would go to her FB or Instagram page and post such vile, nasty things but it happens with many hosts and celebs.

And talk about reading into something.  I never once said I didn't like Lisa.  I even said very early on in this thread that I would never have made the comment that she did to Lisa.  I wish Lisa nothing but great luck and great success with her business.  When she first came out with products, I would have purchased had anything interested me.  But as I began reading the back and forth with posters, seeing the deletions and reading unprofessional comments from Lisa, I decided that wasn't a business I was going to choose to support because I don't like what goes on there.  My choice.

I don't know why you think Lipstick diva  isn't capable of making her own comments, but I see your point.

BTW ..... have you tried posting a negative review on Ebay lately?   They practically insist you resort to ther Resolution page and try to work things out with the seller first.

Truth is ......  just like ANY other retailer, B&M or online, if you don't like their practices, then shop somewhere else.   No one is forcing anyone to buy from LR.

One of the fastest ways to get something resolved is to hit a company hard on social media if you can't get a resolution any other way.

Quite awhile ago, a poster started a thread about the CS at Lisa's company and posted the complaint made by someone who attempted to contact her CS and everything went unanswered.  When the person respectfully voiced her concern on LR's FB page, she was met with a very rude reply from Lisa about the proper channel.  The woman had already tried that.

According to some on this board, Lisa also chastised people during a live chat for making returns.

It's just not professional IMO.  And there were a few clothing pieces I would have tried but I just won't.
