Re: LOOKING FOR NEW MOUTH WASH...DON'T LAUGH!!

I use Listerine Natural Herbal Mint and Biotene alternately in the winter when my mouth is dry from indoor heat.  My dentist recommends both.

I like Closys.  It comes with a small vial of peppermint oil, which I never use at all, but you can use as much or as little as wanted.

I just use the grocery store version.  Taste fine to me.  There are other flavors to choose from besides "original Listerine".

Try a variety travel size bottles before investing in a full size bottle.

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW MOUTH WASH...DON'T LAUGH!!

I used to use QVC's Tri Oral. It was a 24 hour mouthwash. I thought it was the best invention since sliced bread. Then the manufacturer changed the formula and it caused dryness in my mouth. I might have also had other conditions causing the dryness as well. I tried Listerine and it made the dryness worse. My dentist recommended Biotene, which was supposed to hydrate my mouth. I had a package of their products. They really weren't that good for me. The dry mouth I had then, is gone now, but when I tried Listerine again it just didn't help me. I am currently using Sensodyne Fresh toothpaste to brush and I rub a bit on my tongue, then rinse. It's great for my teeth, but my breath-still on the hunt to solve this problem.

This is the mouth wash I use too. I also do not use the flavor vial that comes with it. It's expensive, but I really like it!

Closys is the best thing that I have done for myself  and ACT.  And Phillips Sonic Care toothbrush.

I still use Tri Oral.  Tri Oral is called Smart Mouth in the stores and the formula tastes the same, but Smart Mouth comes in smaller sized bottles than the ones QVC sells..  I prefer the larger sizes on QVC, as they last longer.

Re: LOOKING FOR NEW MOUTH WASH...DON'T LAUGH!!

I use Scope, but Lavoris was my absolute favorite until it was discontinued.   My grandmother used the original version of Listerine her entire life.  She was the only person I ever knew who loved that strong stuff!   I have never been able to tolerate the taste of Listerine; even diluted, but my grandmother could swig it straight from the bottle, tilt her head back and gargle for the longest time, before spitting it out.  For some reason I was quite impressed with her ability to do that.
