Re: LOOKING FOR NEW MOUTH WASH...DON'T LAUGH!!

I love thr original flavor Listerine. It's all I use. It doesn't seem as harsh as it was even in the 80's. Though I can't gargle with it like the old ads say too.

Look in the traveler section of Wal-Mart, Target, or a drugstore. Mouth wash is less than $2 (50¢-1.25) for a 2-4oz bottle. That way you can sample a bit, then give the ones you don't care for to friends or family, and not spend a lot for a big bottle.

Hi @Lindsays Grandma!  I swear by Crest Pro-Health Complete.  It has fluoride, which is important for me because we have well water, and it's alcohol-free.  It's the clean mint flavor and it's the purple liquid (there are about 100 different kinds, but this is my fave).  Good luck in your quest!  Woman Very Happy

Everybody's different! I just threw away a giant bottle of this- it left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth for hours.

I only tried it because I couldn't find the purple Listerine Complete in my store.

The Listerine is NOT yummy, but I always feel shiny toothed when I use it!

I use the original Listerine & have for many years.  I thin it out with a little bit of water & so far that works for me.  My husband & both have tried Crest Pro Health- great taste but it leaves a sloughing in our mouths- skin removal..  I read about it online and it isn't unsafe just yucky.

I use the original bronw Listerine.  And my dentist approves.  He uses it also.
