I've been away for a few weeks-personal reasons. So excuse me if this has already been  addressed. But, I've received packages from just before I was away...the packages from previous orders still came in. A few were very banged up and I would have refused them if it were the p.o. or ups. But, ther is this new carrier apparantly from QVC to us at home called "LaserShip". They don't ring the bell, I don't hear a truck in our quiet neighborhood....nothing.

The post office say "that's not us!" and UPS say "never heared of it!"!

So, before I call C.S., here and ask them a multidude of questions~why, who, where are they? I thought I'd ask my fellow shoppers ~ do any of you know about them? And, how to get in touch with them?

i don't remember reading or hearing anything and am confused! Some things still come from our traditional carriers; and neither one knows who laser ship is!!!

Can anyone...including the mods help me with this little mystery?

I've never heard of them either and looked it up online. They seem to only service the eastern part of the US.

I have never heard of them either, but when I checked them online they have very bad reviews.

Yes, Gemspirit,

In the last several months, whenever I order from drugstore.com, my items are shipped via LaserShip.

Are you on the east coast?  I have my orders shipped to my sister's office in the heart of Manhattan.  The delivery time is fantastic.  Tracking usually shows arrival in East Rutherford, NJ,  in the early a.m., and the package is delivered to NYC by 11 am or earlier.

Never have had a problem with beat-up packages.  I know the first time I saw a package was being shipped via LaserShip, I freaked, so I understand your concerns.

Here is their site:

I can't remember which previous threads discussed this but this has been my experience with LaserShip.  I am unable to track it until it says out for delivery.  Then it could be anytime of the day, including after 9 pm.  The packages are delivered from a white van with no identification.  The people delivering wear ordinary street clothes.  They throw it on your porch and do not ring the bell.  They did this to me last winter in a snow storm and I found the package the next day when I was shoveling.  The only upside for me is that I get it faster than any other delivery service.  Drugstore dot com also uses them.  I am in NJ.

I started a post about LaserShip a while back because I didn't know who they were either.  There was an unmarked van in my driveway and it ended up being LaserShip delivering my package -- they did not ring my bell.  My packages arrived in tact, but not a fan.

My Air Innovations Humidifiers were delivered Lazer Shipped....it was a plain van with two gentlemen ...I wanted to refuse shipment as I had tried to cancel and couldn't.....but they said they were specially hired to deliver only...so I had to take them...and then return on my own....(that was costly) ....I didn't think to ask who hired them to do deliveries and they didn't say...

Thank you ALL for your info/ experiences! I have had an awful experience with them and many damaged or OPENED & RESEALED boxes! I will check out their site and then call CS,

Personally, it upsets me and makes me uneasy that an unmarked van with people in street clothing (have they been screened?) coming to my home. I'm disabled and often alone if DH travels for work.

This isn't a good thing at all! And I am not buying anything else from the big Q till this is resolved. There are plenty of fish in the sea!

Seriously?  They are a delivery company.  They deliver your packages.  How they are dressed or what they are driving is irrelevant.

As shipping costs continue to rise, retailers will utilize additional services that save them money.  QVC is not alone.

As long as you receive your packages, does it really matter who delivers them?

I swear some people will ot be satisfied unless Daviid Venable personally delivers every packages, cooks them a meal while opening and inspecting the contents, and then does a Happy Dance too entertain them.
