The slippers look like fake fur in that photo.  Who cares what she wears, I am so glad the Koala Bear was rescued.  That is such a shame that so many animals were killed.

Yes ,the 2 scenarios would be different.

She would be eating the crab for food, skinning the minks is for a cozy pair of slippers, big difference, but I'm sure you already knew that

like millions & millions of other people who have sympathy for

Have to be careful who uses the 'hypocrite' title...

No, my point is that crabs (lobster, shellfish, etc) are usually steamed alive or put on ice so they don't give too much of a fight when you do steam them alive.  Or some people just start pulling them apart to clean them, while they are alive.
