@wifey2qt - the Spurs insulted themselves and the state they represent by walking off the court without congratulating the Knicks for their championship win.

The OP is a lost cause they don't know it now because they think they are relevant but they will find out what they thought is not real and we can walk away from that noise.

Congratulations Knicks and the fans that traveled everywhere they played.

@occasionalrain

I know you like to play the negative advocate so I take your posts as such.

I am not sure why a few fans acting out (both sides did btw) has you upset but how many sets of pearls do you go through 😁.😄

I like you and your take on some things and not on some others.
Then again it is a " message board" so all opinions are valid.

As long as posters are not insulting or reducing others to nothing because of disagreement.

If people were not prisoners of their ideology the world would be a better place.

Be well.😊

It doesn’t only happen in NYC. Riots during or after sports events go back to chariot races. There were riots in California, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia related to sports and probably more but just what I can remember. The phenomenon is not uncommon in Europe & Canada. It’s not just the USA

What happens in other countries does not reflect on mine.

The Knicks fans put a 17 year boy in the hospital, physically tore off people's shirts, and threw eggs at the losing team.  There is no excuse.

I care how my fellow citizens behave because their behavior reflects on all of us and on our country. They won and could have been gracious, respectful, left a positive example of who we are. I would have been so pleased and proud.

THE KNICKS WIN! THE KNICKS WIN!

[ Edited ]

FYI:  The "Knicks" did not harm or hurt anyone as was falsely alleged and scurrilously said in an above post.

In fact, the Knicks as a team are the most humble, gracious and grateful that I have seen in sometime, across all major sports.

False information must be called out.  (The remarks by that poster were edited after the falsehood was pointed out, FYI.)

Re: THE KNICKS WIN! THE KNICKS WIN!

Well to be fair she said Knick's fans not the team members. And from what I have read a small number of Nick's fans went wild causing property damange, setting 5 school buses on fire, smashing windows in buses and police cars, firing guns in Times Square and injuring the 17 year old boy. What part of celebrating includes these actions?

I do not hold the team or the people of New York responsible for this lawless behavior. Only those who took part in the madness are responsible. It was a great night for the Knicks and New York. And they should be very proud of their team.
