I have 2 cats who mostly use 1 litter box. There's another one on our screened back porch, but they don't use it much.

Here's my question: Has anyone found a kitty litter that provides minimal tracking? I'm forever cleaning up kitty litter! The box is in our laundry room that has a tile floor, everywhere else it's all hardwoods.

I have one of those mats that are supposed to trap litter right beside the litter box and a small throw rug in front of the mat, so the cats walk on something other than the bare floor for several feet. Can anyone suggest something to reduce the amount of tracked litter, either a brand of litter or a good mat that does the job?
