The med is alprazolam. That's what the vet prescribed. It's like a generic Xanax.

I was just getting ready to page you! So the name is actually alprazolam? That is the name of generic human Xanax. I'll talk to my vet about it. That's the only anxiety med I can take because it doesn't sedate or give me side effects. Maybe it would work for my cat--I love her so much, sometimes I feel like I gave birth to her --so maybe it would help her too! {#emotions_dlg.wub}

That thread was irritating for a while, but then it was fun! And if this med works for my baby, I'm glad it got so crazy, otherwise we wouldn't have wound up talking about cats! LOL{#emotions_dlg.lol}
