Kitten food

My recently adopted kitten will be 4 months old in January. I have been feeding him Iams kitten food.

We have been keeping him mostly in my daughter's room so that he can keep eating kitten food. I have 4 other beasts running around that don't need kitten food!

He will eat regular cat food if he is around it. He was a little small for his age, so I felt kitten food was the best for him. He would like to join the others in the rest of the house.

How long did anyone keep a kitten on kitten vs regular cat food??
