KitchenAid Pro 600 Mixer..does anybody have?

I have a Euro Pro I think from years ago that was 350 watts that I don't recall which shopping station I got it from..about 20 years ago.

It just died right in the middle of mashing potatoes on Thanksgiving..what was funny was I was saying how I wanted the KitchenAid but the actual mixer I paid less then fifty bucks for had more watts then many of the KitchenAids...and seriously what I use it for..mashed potatoes and mixing cakes ..just couldn't justify it..lol

Perusing Black Friday sale papers Kohls had the KitchenAid 575 watts..after all discounts for $290..plus a lot of Kohls cash lol...my mother got it for me for my Christmas Gift.

Reading reviews on Amazon now..I find they are talking about gear issues..anybody have an issues with theirs if they own it?
