He as been doing well.  He went to a cancer center earlier this week and the reaching out and sitting and laughing with the patients getting their treatments was touching.  I have never seen him so personable and relateable.  He said he was on his way to his cancer treatment as well.

I adore Zara.

So sweet, uncle and neice.  He's probably appreciating his family ties all the more, right now.  Prayers that he'll do well.

The photo of him hugging Zara with his eyes closed shows how vulnerable he is at this time. He's a loving uncle and it must be sweet to just give and receive a hug with no explanation.
