Kindle Paperwhite and the Library

After all these years of swearing I'd never want an e-reader, I do. This one seems to have a good lighting system and is a good fit in my hand. I'm not a techie person and wonder how easy it is to download a title from the library. Do you just click on a link in a library email and presto the book appears?
