I'm posting this here because it had nothing to with their show, but I'm personally disturbed by this type of punishment and wondering what other posters thought.
"It's one of the sacred rules of the trendy Elf On A Shelf - children cannot touch the toy or it loses it's Christmas magic.
But for a three-year-old, that's rather hard to understand. And it seems Saint West defied the regulations to play with his elf - much to his big sister North's horror.
Kim Kardashian shared a picture of a handmade grave created for their elf by North, who clearly believes Saint's mishandling has caused the magical creature to die.
'RIP' reads the tombstone, which sits on top of a felt tip pen colored grave.
'Saint touched his elf on a shelf so North just brought this in,' Kim wrote.
The toys have only taken off in the last few years, but for those who have a $30 Elf On A Shelf there are strict rules to follow.
Children are given a book about the elf, which teaches them it reports nightly back to Santa with an update on their behavior.

That's awful to do to children.

Elf on the shelf: a spy who watches what kids do ---is really weird and I have another word but that will be censored.
EotS is no better than believing in a man who knows who has been good or bad and sneaks into your house in the middle of the night

I'm sure she knows her kids and what they could handle emotionally. It's kind of tough when you have one kid who believes and the other who breaks the rules.
If she doesn't kill off the elf, what do you say to North? Enforcing the agreed upon consequences is something I am so happy to see parents do. We need more of it.
I am sure another elf will fly in next year if not sooner for him and I'll bet he won't touch it again. You know, it's always the little ones who get us older kids in trouble. Every time!

She's a moron.

If the outrage is to happen, gotta have a pic or it didn’t happen.
BTW...I could post other EOTS pics...where the interweb has placed
him in other compromising positions, but they would be removed.
😆😆😆
Relax. The world will continue to turn.

Elf on the shelf is creepy.

"There is still hope for Saint’s scout. The Elf on the Shelf page offers a bunch of simple suggestions to renew the magic, and one involves singing a Christmas carol!"

That all sounds frightning and scary.... not Christmas magic or beautiful happy thoughts about Christmas for a Child..... I feel sorry for any child who comes into THAT FAMILY.
