I made a stupid dumb mistake and now need some advice. First I should say I already called Keruig and they really couldn't help me. I have the mini brewer, I measured my water into my measuring cup that I had forgot to clean after measuring cooking oil. Needless to say the water went into the machine and all the oil residue also mixed with the water and after numerous descaling, vinegar rinses, Dawn dish soap rinses, hot water after hot water, baking soda mixed in hot water the coffee still tastes like burnt oil, just terrible. My husband thinks the oil is burnt onto the heating element and won't come out. I feel like chucking the whole machine.
