I love Katie Perry but her performance was a letdown. The sound was bad,her costumes were not so great,and Missy Elliot ....why?She was like a random slide mixed up in the projector. Why not have snoop since he was on a song with her?? Lenny Kravitz was on for a blip and gone. All at the party were not impressed. But we did all say at least it was family friendly.

I thought the halftime show was absolutely awful.

I saw clips on the morning shows. It looked a bit juvenile and it appeared the audio was not in sync. Listening to and reading discussions about it, they seem to be mixed.

Her fan base is teen aged girls.

Even though she has the most Twitter followers of any singer, I just don't see her fitting in the with football "demo" - adults 25+.

I watched for a short time and thought I must be getting very old because I thought it was all hoopla with no real content or talent. It just seemed so over-the-top that I changed the channel. Then again, I'm one of the few Americans who hardly watched the Super Bowl. Downton Abbey and that gorgeous guy on Masterpiece Mystery are more my style.

I thought her hip hop dancing attempts were funny (when Missy Elliott was singing).

Katy is probably a nice person, but it was all too bubblegum and glitter for me.

I thought she did OK but to have Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott there to distract the audience while she changed numerous outfits was ridiculous. They spent alot of money on her half time show.
