Just read that the Queen has assigned her personal stylist to Kate Middleton to make her look more " royal".......it is reported that the Queen is most concerned that Kate's skirts are too short and they must be worn longer.......
I am almost afraid to see what the Queen's stylist will do to Kate! Guess this is part of being in the Royal Family. I know Kate has shown proper deference to the Queen so am sure she will make some changes but I hope they are slight and are her ideas, not the stylist's.

I don't think there's anything wrong with her getting help from a stylist. This is in regard to her trip to Australia where she will be required to wear tiaras, formal wear and to make a presentable royal impression.

The report I read said the Queen was concerned about her skirt length and overall style. I hope it is just for a trip.

Well this is the life she fought tooth and nail for, so I guess she'll have to deal with it, lol.

I agree. And anyway they won't dress her in the Queen Mum's clothes and handbags lol. Her style and beauty will shine through.

"When Kate Middleton heads to Australia this spring, Queen Elizabeth has requested the Duchess of Cambridge change her look.
The Queen has asked for longer hemlines, more statement jewelry pieces, and for Kate to wear a tiara more often, according to Vanity Fair.
In order to achieve the look, the Queen has enlisted her own personal stylist to help Kate pack for the three and a half week trip. She is also going to loan Kate 'statement jewelry and gemstones from the Queen's personal collection.'"

If I were Kate I'd tell the queen where to stick it.

I agree. She has a good sense of style but a little help won't hurt.

I wonder if that means she can wear Alexander McQueen's famous skull scarf in pretty pink.
I don't think the Queen will approve.
