@SharkE .  LOL, from the suburbs not the city. We just have sheds around here in my neighborhood. Much smaller than a pole barn. But it does get really windy at times. This area has tons of very tall trees that do fall with the wind. That’s what is scary around here.

Stay safe.
I’ve lived in the country, but never heard the term pole barn. Maybe it’s regional.

Huh?

@SharkE

Here In DFW we had winds up to 80MPH this morning.

I have a good friend that had his backyard fence completely

torn down...and lots of beautiful trees w/ limos broken.

It was really scary....

I've been watching it on the Weather Channel.  Mike Siedel is getting it now.  Sharkie - has your power gone out and/or you on generator.?  You just sent pole barn pictures so know you have some juice from somewhere.  (yes, NYS knows about pole barns)

It's now moved past WY.

@Kachina624  paging you for @SharkE .  Sharke, you have to put the page inside the post.  It doesn't work in the title.  Just trying to help.

yeah, I got a turn key generator , still have electricity, sky is blue, temp is in 60's, just the wind will blow the hair off your legs.

I'd be afraid to run the generator because if I try to lift that garage door and I'd have to vent the generator or smother myself to death I'd be in bad trouble I'd rather be without electricity.

It should pass by 8 and I can get out and survey my own house and grounds. I got 2 1/2 acres.

I got a man coming out Thurs to see about a new roof. This wind didn't help it any and down here in Tx I was told U have to replace your roof every 10 yrs. and I've been here since 2010.

I'm never lonely I always got somebody coming and going ! LOL
