Kourtney spent 2 yrs here in Dallas at SMU before
transferring/graduating from University of Arizona.
I have a friend of a friend who knew hung out with her
during that time here in Dallas. Small world.

Those rules did not come from the family. As several posters here have noted, these are rules set by the mall or whoever handles security. They are very common in pop-up stores and events of this type. Nothing on the list is new to me - I work with celebrities and have seen it all before many times. It has to do with safety, complying with ordinances, and keeping the area clear for other shoppers since not everyone in the area would be there for this event and an event in one store/area should not impact sales in another.
None of the Jenners/Kardashians had anything to do with the specific rules. They leave that to security, and undoubtedly are unaware of the details.

My 11 year old granddaughter requested one of Kylie Jenner's eye shadow palettes at $42 for Christmas. (Granddaughter doesn't wear makeup yet except with her dance groups). Anyway, after I spit my coffee all over my lap, I gave her a rather strong lecture on what I thought of the Kardasian and Jenner clan and their products. Poor thing. She didn't know what hit her!
I then gently suggested something from the drugstore and we could go and take a look.

Wow...that's a whole lotta negativity (seems I've been saying that a lot on these boards, as of late) directed to an innocent little girl.
I would've said what the true issue is, too expensive, and keep the opinion to oneself. An outburst, negative remark at 11 lays the groundwork for 'why doesn't my GD come see me?' years from now. Poor thing, indeed.

Her stufff sells out so quickly online and I think this does give people a chance to get something who haven't been able to in the past. Her stuff was getting purchased in large quantities online and then put it on ebay for crazy prices. I am not a Kardashian lover or hater but Kylies makeup is crazy popular and it reviews very well too. There is a ton of interest in it.
I haven't tried anything from her line but I do buy a lot from Colourpop which I love and is great quality and they are made by the same company that makes Kylies stuff at a fraction of the price. Colourpops lippies are $6 and most reviewers I have seen have commented they are almost identical in quality.
I know someone who has been trying to get a particular lipstick from her line since it launched. It sold out immediately on-line and everytime more comes in, it sells out immediately.
So no, I don't think she's ridiculous about this.

Wow a lot of dislike for the K's. I wonder what they did personally to you to make you feel that way about them. 😕
I happen to like them. They're not bad people, and also, they discretely donate a lot of money to charities. I agree that Kris is the root of their success. She's great at what she does. In reality, I bet a lot of people would like to be in their shoes. 😉
If it's so discreet, how do you know? ![]()

Sidsmom, I exaggerated a bit when I said "strong lecture". I explained to her why I had issue with these people. And the price tag on their products. You are right that I need to be careful about what I say and how I say it because I do have strong opinions about some things. It's always best to stop and think first before it comes out of one's mouth! The last thing I want to do is push her to the opposite side.
Blessings!
