I have a black and white photo framed that sits on the end table next to where I watch t.v. on the couch.  It is Easter Sunday at my grandmother's after church in 1963.  My mom is holding my brother only 3 months old and Daddy is holding me 15 months old.  That hat on my Mom's head makes me smile every time I look over at it.

@Oznell here is the photo I referenced above, Easter 1963.  They all three along with my little sister born three years later get to celebrate with the Lord.  One day........

What a great thread.

Re: KIDS OF THE PAST AND PRESENT IN THEIR EASTER BEST

Oh, wow, @beckyb1012 -- your picture, which sounds great, is not coming through for some reason.  It's one of those deals where there's a blank white square, with a big "X" in the middle of it.  Rats!  Early family photos like that, and associated with a beloved holiday, are just the best.

Could you try again to post it?  I don't know why that happens, but every so often I've noticed a picture not coming through.  It may be a technical thing on my end, but I'm not savvy enough to know how to fix it!

Anyway, thanks for the attempt, sounds lovely.

The little girl in the pink dress ........ so cute !

And the beautiful girl kneeling with a head band of flowers........

All wonderful photos of children dressed in Easter outfits.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
