Junior college is a great place to go for a variety of reasons.

For example... many people in the San Francisco Bay Area go to City College of SF for their first two years and then crossover directly to UC Berkeley.

You get a great first two years basic ed and save thousands and thousands of $$$ doing it that way.

There's no shame in going to a JC.

I agree Noel. I'm about to go to college for the first time in my life. I haven't been in school for 30 years yet currently hold a job that normally requires a 4 year degree just to be considered for the position. I've been there for years.

I'm starting out in a city college to get my Associates and then transferring to a bigger college to get my Bachelors. Nothing wrong with that other than being penny-wise.

Your plan is such a smart one! You'll save a lot of money for the following two years {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
