I know most of us are surprised and even shocked at what we see at these high profile trials. Right now it's Arizona vs Jodi Arias.

We see endless delays, side bars, parsing speech, and so much more.

I've learned the very hard way it's that way no matter what part of the justice system you find yourself in. I am not in it per se, but my husband's family sure is.

My husband's father passed away in 2011, and his oldest brother and the legal system have conspired to seemingly never settle his estate.

Brother #1 is being sued by brother #4 to try to get this estate settled. They are both trustees, but #1 really considers himself one and only.

There was a court date scheduled for tomorrow (after the last one being Sept. 2012) and #1 asked for 2 more weeks delay. It was turned down by #4, so #1's attorney goes and whines to the judge, and , of course, it was granted.

First he asks saying he has a business show to attend, and we find out it was last weekend. Then his attorney says he doesn't have all the documents, he's a new attorney on the case (this is his THIRD attorney), and he hasn't had enough time to prepare.

Delay, delay, delay, deny, deny, deny is the MO of the justice system. Unless you're an innocent victim, of course.
