Ah! He's cute, though!

Years ago, Harold lived under our front porch. He was the gentlest creature I ever hand-fed.

I guess he would be correct. Of course, the weather people here on the east coast are saying something more is on the way for next Sunday. Originally, we were only supposed to get an inch or so here in east central Pa., and I think it's closer to 30" that we got. More like April Fools. Hope whatever they are tracking is just sunshine.

Yep.  Here in Chicago we are getting our first winter of lots of snow in February.  More is in the forecast later this week.  I hope the children are able to enjoy outdoor winter sports.  Sledding, skating, etc.  As a kid, I loved the winter sports but we had a longer winters Dec., Jan., and Feb. and sometimes part of Nov. and definitely more snow.

I watched that this morning.  Will they show that movie today, Groundhog Day?

@qualitygal  It might be on today. Check your local listings. I just checked

I found this info. on USAToday..

AMC actually runs Groundhog Day all day on February 2 (though not for the full 24 hours), and this year you can start watching the film at 10 AM on Tuesday or catch it throughout the day until its last run at 10:30 PM.

I do not believe a poor groundhog that is forced out of slumber cares about the weather.  I go by our groundhogs living under a huge lilac bush and when they make their finally appearance  then I know winter is over
