So sorry to hear that he's gone.  

Loved him in everything, but he was perfect in The Natural, one of my all time favorite movies.

I know so little about him, other than he was a great actor!

He will be missed.

I used to enjoy him on Our House. Lived to 85. Rest in Peace.

I remember him on Craig Ferguson and he took the well meaning jokes and admiration in such stride. True class act from a generation that is sorely missed.

Cocoon and The Firm. Were our favorites.  He could play the good guy and bad guy.  ❤️

He was GREAT at playing "old" LONG before he was himself the age of the parts he was playing.

Truly a very good, probably under appreciated character actor.

He was a wonderful actor. He always looked old though, no matter what he age was!

So true, he seemed to be very old before his time. He was playing the grandfather to teenagers in Our House, when he was only about 50. Remember he did a guest spot on Seinfeld, playing the Postmaster General, did a great scene with Kramer.
